I began making candles as a hobby about seven years ago, experimenting with fragrances, perfecting my techniques, and discovering what I feel makes a truly enjoyable candle. Rose and Nest Soy Candles officially began three years ago, and I am thrilled to share my handmade soy candles with customers near and far.

​

Each candle is crafted in small batches of a dozen or fewer. I personally oversee every step of the process from selecting fragrances, pouring wax, labeling jars, managing this website, and selling at local craft shows.

​

My childhood dream has always been to own a small gift shop. After working as an x-ray technologist for nine years and now being a stay-at-home mom to my favorite son, I’m realizing that dream through my online store and by selling in various local spaces.

​

My husband and I weren’t originally planning to move to specifically to Leola, but we discovered that both sides of our families have roots in the Groffdale, Weaverland Valley, New Holland, and Leola areas dating back at least five generations. It’s a joy to live in this area, surrounded by the rich heritage of our ancestors.

My hope is that Rose and Nest Soy Candles will bring warmth, comfort, and joy into your home just as they do to mine!
